The Grand Strand in South Carolina is a hot bed of all-you-can-eat buffets and big box eateries, meant to fill you up and dazzle you with exciting themes. Locals, however, live on the mom and pops and the one-offs. Because they come and go easier than the big joints, we want to help identify the ones we feel are both excellent and in need of more attention.

Friendship

RJ and I are intertwined from the days when I taught him English and Broadcast Journalism, and it is proof that my philosophy of teaching and mentorship works: the classroom is only the beginning. This project wouldn't be the same if we weren't in it together. We have a mythical third partner who rounds out our 3 Amigos band, but that is for another day.
